Grade 80 Eye Shortening Chain Grab Hook
GS Products offers a range of eye shortening chain sling grab hooks that are suitable for use with grade 80 chain slings.
Forged from alloy steel, these chain shortening hooks are made to BS EN 1677 specifications and can be used in lifting applications. Each hook is marked with CE markings, ID number and W.L.L limits.
This lifting hook is attached to component connectors. It acts as a shortening device and allows you to safety shorten a chain leg within a Grade 80 chain sling. The hook features a safety factor of 4:1 and has a 'wing' design at the bottom of the hook to prevent chain deformation with heavy lifts.
Available to suit 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, and 16mm diameter grade 80 chain.
