Wire rope hanging kit FAQs

Q: Does this wire rope kit have a breaking load limit?

A; No, with anything that is swaged by the end user with a hand tool is impossible to load rate. The wire rope is incredibly strong, the 1.5mm wire rope has a breaking load of 155kgs and the 2mm wire rope has a breaking load of 280kgs. We would always recommend testing the loops once you have swaged them in-house.

Q: Does the green tool cut and crimp the wire?

A; Yes. the holes in the jaw compress the aluminium ferrules and it has a built in cutter on the side of the jaw (See product photos)
