We get asked quite frequently….. ‘How to fitting the DIY Swageless Compression Fittings to the end of you Steel Wire Rope?’, it can be quite tricky if you have never attached any ends before so please read\u00a0on for illustrated guidance….\n<\/p>\n

Our NEW Swageless Steel Wire Rope are unique as the center compression cone is also A4-AISI 316 Stainless Steel like the rest of the fitting. There are cheaper alternatives on the market which has been causing problems with rust etc near sea water as the center cone was a cheaper zinc plated steel which has very poor corrosion resistance<\/p>\n

The DIY fittings we now stock are easier to fit and offer full corrosion resistance for outdoor use such as balustrading and yacht rigging projects, we stock the Swageless Jaw\/Fork, Eye and Threaded Stud versions to suit Wire Rope diameters 3mm 4mm 5mm and 6mm<\/p>\n
